"I bought my Focus from you 12 months ago, it had a free winter service check, which went very well. It has just had a free 12 month service, which was part of the deal when I bought the car. All went fine, I had two problems with the car, first was a loose mudflap which was fixed during the service, the other was a problem with the sat-nav. This was solved a few days later when a spare part was available. This job took around 3.5 hours in total, the staff in service reception were all very helpful offering to brew up for me quite a few times and some chocolate biscuits. The car has a free major service in 12 months time, I look forward to seeing all the staff again. ( keep the chocolate biscuits on hold ) "

"The salesman was very helpful, not over pushy, had a very good knowledge of all vehicles in the Ford range. We just viewed the Ford garage in Crewe but left because we didn't feel comfortable looking round as the salesman followed us around, didn't give us a chance to browse at comfort and was very very pushy. The Mondeo is a lovely drive, it feels solid and a quality finish. We also have a Vauxhall Insignia but it pales in comparison to the drive in the Mondeo! Our only slight niggles are that there isn't an auto setting on the headlights and apart from the White the colour range is a little "old man-ish"."

"General comment: Very impressed with Burns Garages; we have only ever been in the position to buy a brand new car on two previous occasions in 40 years of car driving and one of those (Fiesta PVT 755W) was from Burns Garages back in the day too. Their great strength is their long standing as a well regarded, family run, independent garage. Because they are a smallish concern in a distinct small town locality, you feel that you and all their other customers really matter to them. You do see a LOT of Burns cars around the local area. I would not feel the same about a big dealership that is part of a national chain, where you probably wouldn't meet the same salesman twice and you as a private buyer are very small beer compared to the fleet buyers. This time round we were originally looking, as normal for us, for a second hand car; we had about £8000 to spend and wanted to return to a Ford having had (very satisfactory) Vauxhalls for the last two times. Burns second hand salesman Mike was excellent with us, showing us some beautifully prepared second hand Kas and Fiestas. He came out with us on test drives, answered questions knowledgeably and he obviously has a wealth of Ford car experience. We had discounted new vehicles as probably too expensive but he suggested going across to the showroom to look at new Ka and Fiestas ranges; I don't know whether that cost him a sales bonus - if so it shows commendable integrity on his part because the rest is history. We were so impressed with the new Ka Metal that salesman Nick showed us that...we bought it! The differential between a newish s/h Ka and a brand new one really was reasonable enough at Burns prices to be a stretch worth making. We had also done a bit of looking elsewhere to compare but the Burns deal won hands down. Nick was brilliant to deal with, again nothing was too much trouble and we were really pleased to have bought our new car from Burns of Congleton. I tend to think this of every new car we get ( whether new or second hand) but on this occasion I am DEFINITELY right: this is the best car we have ever bought in terms of value, suitability (we only need one car now both children are grown up and away from home so it suits us fine as a twosome of a certain age), style, equipment, performance, economy, running costs, dealer support, everything. We are both delighted with our new car and are delighted with the car buying experience offered by Burns Garages. Excellent!"
